Datavision Enhances its Revenue Management Module by
Adding Spa/Golf Revenue Analysis and Res Agent Productivity Data

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
WESTON, FLA.— (June 20, 2003) Datavision Technologies, the premier vendor of data warehousing and business intelligence solutions for the hospitality industry, announces that it is strengthening it’s powerful Decisions™ Revenue Management module by adding Spa/Golf Revenue Analysis and Reservation Agent Productivity data. These products will be demonstrated at HITEC in New Orleans, June 24-26, Booth number 1506, at the Morial Convention Center.

The Revenue Management module is part of the Decisions™ Business Intelligence System., which works with the systems you already have in place (PMS, POS, Payroll, Spa System, Golf Tee time system, etc.). Decisions™ automatically extracts key data from your systems, consolidates into a central data warehouse, and delivers operational information right to the users’ desktops.

The Recreation Scheduling module allows hotels and resorts to monitor historical usage as well as future business on the books bookings for various resort activities such as spa, golf, tennis, etc. Data can be viewed for any golf course, tennis court or resort amenity for any range of dates, past or future. In addition, users can drill into the data to see segmentation and package detail. The availability of this wealth of data will enable resorts to maximize their revenue opportunities by applying their revenue management strategies to all resort activities. Resorts can also better understand their booking patterns, lead days, and segmentation to efficiently staff these activities.

“The same revenue management principles that hotels use to maximize room revenue can be extended to manage recreational revenue as well. Our product now puts a powerful revenue management tool at the fingertips of the hotels to help them maximize their total hotel revenue. Several of our customers need to understand the booking pace in other areas of their resort besides rooms and our product gives them this ability. Having instantaneous access to historical as well as future data enables hotels to easily build daily budgets based on historical occupancy,” said Sudharshan Chary, president of Datavision Technologies, Inc.

The Reservation Agent Productivity module provides hotels and resorts with summary and detailed information by particular reservation agents for future and historical bookings. The Excel™ based reports will provide a wealth of information about the booking activity by each agent: total revenues and room nights by market segment. Revenue managers and other personnel monitoring call centers can use this information to analyze individual agent productivity.
