Datavision Business Intelligence System Decision's
Payroll Control Software Installed at Several Properties
May 21, 2003, Weston, Fla. : Interstate Hotels & Resorts deployed
Decisions Payroll Control software from Datavision Technologies at
several hotels throughout the United States. Datavision’s flagship
product, Decisions Business Intelligence System, automatically
extracts and consolidates data from various systems (PMS, POS,
Timeclock, etc.) into a data warehouse to provide automated flash
reporting, payroll control and analysis.
At each Interstate location where the system is in use, Decisions
streamlines the labor reporting process by automatically generating
a detailed report that is delivered to department heads early each
morning. The report displays regular and overtime data, compared to
forecast and budget for each individual payroll position. In
addition, productivity information such as payroll cost per occupied
room, cost percentage of revenue and cost per cover is calculated,
along with projected month-end payroll based on the efficiency of
each department. The report is presented in graphs to help
department heads immediately identify problem areas.
